Almost anybody in average physical condition can ride a camel and learn to control it very quickly. Unlike a horse no special training is necessary, no special costume, no rules to remember. A few stretches each morning will help to remove any stiffness from the night – and you are ready to set out!

Diving happens all the year round, with many diverse species to be seen in the different seasons. During the months of June and July there are whale sharks, in February one can often see Mantas. A northerly wind blows down Wadi Araba all the year, which in the summer is a cooling breeze, but in winter it can be a bit chilly, especially when you have just come out of the water.

Tour guide with you it is much more rewarding, and less worried you would be having someone with you on the trek, why not kook for some others of the same mind and share the price among the participants, and do some group hiking if you’re an amateur or do not wish to incur risks.
